It was a wonderful day, and again another successful event. Thank you all for your support.
We met some wonderful people. A group of Japanese young women with whom I got to practice my woeful Japanese, who have been in Cairns for going on one year now…
We also met a Fijian family who spent time living and working in San Francisco! We were elated to relive some of the sights & streets of San Franscisco.
And then there was this very special young lady. Shy, until I couldn’t correctly pronounce her beautiful name. But I knew how special she was. All in all it was a lovely day.
Now onward to the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, at Cairns West State School, Saturday, 28th October,10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring your lunchbox, and your teddy, and your turtle of course! See you there.
